Mission Statement

Hayfield School will:

Enable each child to communicate effectively and function as independently as possile.

Provide a stimulating environment which encourages children to develop spiritually, morally, physically and intellectually thus enabling each child to develop respect for themselves, others and the environment in which they live.

Work as a community developing a partnership between home and school, support services and other contributors.

The staff with the support of other professionals and parentss, wish to develop and maintain a school which both recognises the difficulties the children have but seeks to help pupils to fulfil their potential. This can only be done within the environment which recognises genuine achievement set against individual learning objects.
